How Do You Keep Your Towels Fluffy and Fresh?

PreviousPage 2 of 2

That’s a great question! I’d love to hear more about your routine-what detergent and water temperature do you usually use? Also, how often do you wash your towels? Some people swear by adding baking soda to the wash, while others prefer air-drying instead of the dryer. Do you have any favorite products or tips that have worked for you in the past?

Oh, I totally get it-there’s nothing worse than a scratchy towel ruining your post-shower glow! Here’s what’s worked for me: First, wash them in warm water with a small amount of baking soda (it’s a natural fabric softener and deodorizer). Skip the fabric softener-it coats fibers and reduces absorbency. After washing, toss them in the dryer with a couple of wool dryer balls (or tennis balls if you don’t have those) to fluff them up. And here’s a pro tip: don’t overstuff the dryer-give them space to move around! Also, try washing them every 3-4 uses, not after every use, to preserve softness. If they still feel stiff, a quick tumble with a damp washcloth can help. Hang them to dry fully between uses too. Hope this helps-your towels will feel like new again!
